Gladiator Sandals

Alrighty everyone! Here lately I have noticed some pretty unusual clothing ensembles paired with gladiator sandals. For me I prefer them worn with cute capris, shorts, and jeans. I not a real big fan of gladiator sandals with dresses and skirts. To me it creates a clunky look and causes the ankles to look very large. I prefer less dramatic sandals with dresses to create a more slender look. Here is how I would pair them with capris. As for the dress I chose a more subtle but elegant sandal.

Fashion???

Hey everyone,

I apologize for the lack of posts lately, life has been keeping me extremely busy. During these past few weeks I have been contemplating in what ways God would truly have me use this blog. As I have stated on my blog description I hope to encourage others to stay strong and walk opposite the world by maintaining modesty in clothes we wear. I hope I have succeeded in doing so. I sometimes wonder if this is really anything to be blogging about.(fashion)... I realize of course that appearance is not everything. As I look around at our world though, I am deeply saddened and ashamed of what is now considered modest. Women are converting to the worlds sinful ways, sometimes without even knowing it's wrong. I deeply and earnestly hope that the Lord will show me how to open the eyes of women through this blog and see how sinful the world's clothing choices are. Femininity seems to be completely lost as well.
As I stated before, appearance is not everything ,however, we never know who we will be given the opportunity to witness to. This does not mean that we should convert to their beliefs and dress just to witness to them but I believe we should dress with care and above all modesty. I believe we forget that not all non believers are poor and helpless. There are professional business people who need God just as much. Thus sometimes first impressions do matter. I want others to see that I take the time to dress nice and modestly for God. I am His servant and am to help bring others to Him. This is more important than any business deal so why shouldn't I dress up? This doesn't mean go tend to your garden in high heels. I just think that as followers of Christ we should try to be the best possible person we can be... this also includes manners, work, and schooling. It really frustrates me when I hear people say, " You can't teach an old dog new tricks,' and " I am me. Just accept me as I am." This is displaying lack of care and laziness. We need to make an effort to improve ourselves to glorify God.

God Bless!

If your a mom.... This is for you!

Dear Moms,

Happy Mother's Day! Though most of the time I would leave it at that and sign my name, today I'm going to write a few lines of poetry expressing the overall love we have for you!

You might want to sit down and grab a handkerchief(hopefully those are tears of joy and not of shock at my horrible poetry writing)ha!

The Love I Have For You

From the moment I entered the world
I sensed the love you have for me
It softly entered into my heart
The love you have for me

You pray for me
and play with me
Protect and embrace me
All of this truly shows
The love you have for me

Without a mother like you
I don't know what I'd do
You have taught me to love
our Creator and instilled
His word within me
Yes, this has truly does show
The love you have for me

Mother, you are marvelous
in everything you do
this ever blooming feeling I have is surely,
The love I have for you

God Bless!
